Motorcycle thief arrested

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan Police arrested Monday night a suspected member of a carnapping syndicate and recovered seven motorcycle units and firearms in Barangay Talacsan in San Rafael town.
Police said that the arrest of motorcycle mechanic Jeffrey Valderama, 22 in Barangay Bagong Nayon in Baliuag town led to the recovery of four Yamaha scooters, two Kawasaki motorcycles, a SYM scooter, a Yamaha DT dirtbike and two .22 caliber rifles with live ammunition from the secluded warehouse of a certain Aniceto Feliciano in Barangay Talacsan in San Rafael town.
Valderama admitted that it was the group of a certain Michael Muñoz of Barangay Bagong Nayon in Baliuag town that is responsible for the series of motorcycle robberies in the province.
Feliciano eluded arrest upon sensing the arrival of the police operatives. Valderama and Muñozs cohorts, who are now being the subject of a manhunt were identified as Fernando Victoria of Maronquillo in San Rafael town, and a certain Teng of Little Baguio, Barangay Poblacion in Baliuag town.
