Businessman seized in Lipa

LIPA CITY, Batangas — Armed men snatched a businessman in Barangay Balintawak here last Monday night.

The victim, Jesus Changcoco, who owns the Airline Ref and Aircon Services in Barangay Sabang here, was abducted while he was cruising the national highway, one of his employees said.

The employee said Changcoco left his office between 8 and 8:30 p.m. last Monday but failed to arrive at his residence in Barangay Sabang.

Police are now investigating the kidnapping and have set up roadblocks in the province. — Arnell Ozaeta, Ed Amoroso
