This, after the Court of Appeals has deferred for 60 days the auction sale of the city’s landmark initially scheduled on Monday.
A local court earlier ordered the Apo View’s auction sale after Banco Filipino sued the hotel’s management, Pamintuan Enterprises Davao, for allegedly failing to pay a more than P300-million loan.
The hotel’s auction was originally set last Nov. 7 but the court granted the hotel management’s petition for a deferment supposedly to give them ample time to look for interested buyers.
