National mango gab set

The 4th National Mango Congress will be held in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental on Dec. 4 to 6.
Congress chairman Rex Rivera said the Philippine Mango Industry Foundation, Mindanao Fruit Industry Development Council, Mindanao Mango Industry Foundation and the Greater Northern Mindanao Mango Industry Development Foundation are jointly spearheading the event.
The Department of Agriculture and the Tangub City government are throwing their support behind the congress.
The congress will tackle directions for market development, government support programs, prospects of the Philippine mango industry, updates on state-of-the-art technologies on mango production and post-harvest technologies, actual farmers experiences on off-season mango production, and best practices and strategies undertaken by companies and cooperatives.
