BAGUIO CITY Bring out those jackets, bonnets and neck mufflers because the Baguio chill is here!
Last Tuesday, the temperature in this mountain abode dipped to 13.2 degrees Celsius, the lowest since last October, the start of the so-called "ber" months.
Efren Aquino, of the weather bureaus Baguio office, said the temperature may still go down to as low as 9 degrees Celsius in January or February next year, said to be the coldest months, not this December as commonly expected.
Thus far, this years record low was 8.8 degrees Celsius last January.
The lowest temperature so far recorded here was 6.3 degrees Celsius on Jan. 18, 1961. Artemio Dumlao
