Cebu cracker blast hurts 2

CEBU CITY With the holidays nearing, firecraker makers are having a blast, albeit literally.
In the same day that seven people were hurt in an explosion that razed four makeshift factories in Bulacan, a similar blast occurred in Lapu-Lapu City last Sunday.
Firecracker worker Ely Castro, 24, suffered second-degree burns, and his employer, Alejandro Agusto, sustained minor burns when a combustible mix of chemicals suddenly ignited and exploded. Freeman News Service
