Pangasinan solon’s second cousin stabbed dead

SAN CARLOS CITY — A relative of Pangasinan third district Rep. Generoso Tulagan was stabbed dead while fishing here on All Saints’ Day, police said.

The victim, 47-year-old farmer Virgilio Tulagan, said to be the lawmaker’s second cousin, sustained six knife wounds in the neck, chest, shoulders and back.

Police said the victim was attacked while fishing in a fishpond in Barangay Tayambani this city. Investigators still face a blank wall on the killing. — Eva de Leon
