MILF leader’s brod nabbed for illegal drugs

GENERAL SANTOS CITY — A younger brother of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) spokesman Eid Kabalu was arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for alleged illegal drug trafficking in Arabel, Sarangani last Tuesday.

Superintendent Willie Dangane, Sarangani police director, said Nasser Kabalu, 32, of Datu Piang, Maguindanao, was nabbed along with two others, identified as Abdullah Duna, 32, and Datu Ali Ulama, both residents of Cotabato City.

The three, Dangane said, yielded 20 grams of shabu and a kilo of marijuana.

They were arrested shortly after visiting an alleged cohort, Samina Guiamalo, who is detained at the Sarangani police headquarters. — John Paul Jubelag
