P.7-M mosquito coils, matches stolen in Tarlac

-
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Hijackers pounced on a truck carrying P700,000 worth of mosquito coils and matches when it stopped along the MacArthur Highway in Tarlac City the other day because one of the two helpers had to urinate, police said.

An unlicensed Mitsubishi L-300 carrying the hijackers stopped behind the truck and then announced the heist.

The hijackers commandeered the truck, and dumped driver Conrado Niro and his two helpers in Pura, Tarlac.

The truck was en route to San Fernando, La Union when it was hijacked. Ric Sapnu
