CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga Philippine National Construction Corp. (PNCC) security guard Generoso Quiamson was doing his job when he flagged down Antipolo City businessman Nady Besario for a traffic violation at the Sta. Ines interchange in Mabalacat, Pampanga Tuesday night.
But an enraged Besario traded heated words with the 31-year-old guard, ending in him shooting the latter and fellow guard Jaime Espinosa, 50.
Quiamson died a few minutes after being rushed to the Angeles University Foundation Hospital. Espinosa is in critical condition.
Other PNCC guards gave chase to Besario but found his Fuso camper with license plate UMM-608 abandoned along the Magalang-Concepcion road.
Besario escaped, but the PNCC guards collared his companion, Celso Lavandiya, 36, in a sugarcane field.
Found inside Besarios vehicle were a shoulder bag containing two magazines and several bullets for 9-mm pistol, three spent shells and photocopies of a firearm license and permit to carry. Ric Sapnu
