136 youths gather for sexuality camp

Sexually active or not, 136 community-based young adults from communities around Metro Manila are gathered for a four-day youth sexuality summer camp at Pook ni Mariang Makiling in Los Baños, Laguna.

The camp, which began yesterday, aims to prepare 14- to 25-year-olds in their bid to address high-risk sexual behavior among their peers through information, education and communication projects.

The camp also seeks answers to frequently asked questions on young adult sexuality such as sexually transmitted diseases and HIV-AIDS, gender and sexuality, and family planning.
