Murder suspect nabbed

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan After more than five months in hiding, a man charged with murder and attempted murder cases was arrested by joint police operatives in his hideout last Saturday in Barangay Balingteo in Sta. Barbara town.
Reports reaching the Pangasinan PNP provincial office identified the suspect as Jose Estrada, 54, who is presently residing at said place.
Estrada was arrested by the joint elements of the Calasiao and Sta. Barbara PNP in a raid on the safehouse of the said suspect. Estrada is facing a murder case before the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 42 with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty. He is also facing attempted murder before RTC Branch 44, in Dagupan City, with a fixed bail of P120,000.
An M16 rifle with magazine loaded with 19 ammunition was confiscated from the suspect. The suspect is alleged to be responsible for the killing of a certain Federico Dioquino of San Miguel, Calasiao sometime last October. Cesar Ramirez
