Robbery gang leader killed

The leader of the notorious "Waray-Waray" robbery gang met his violent end in Antipolo City yesterday, shot dead by elements of the National Capital Region Police Office during a raid on his hideout.

Edgar Murillo, alias Bobby Murillo, died from multiple gunshot wounds. A still unidentified gang member was also killed in the shootout in Barangay Mayamot.

Wounded were the raiding team’s leader, Senior Inspector Allan Campus, and gang member Jose Petalbo. — Non Alquitran
