Ex-journalist wins award

Former journalist-turned-public relations practitioner Virgilio Bugaoisan has been named one of this year’s Huwarang Pilipino Awardee for Young Professionals in the 17th Annual Parangal ng Bayan Awards of the Parangal ng Bayan Awards Foundation and the National Consumers Council.

The Parangal ng Bayan Awards or the People’s Choice Awards, was jointly organized by the Parangal ng Bayan Foundation, the National Consumer Council (NCC) headed by Gov. Justo Ortiz and Rev. Dr. Sonia Lim and the Who’s Who Award Foundation. It is co-sponsored by the National Achievers Council and the Golden Mother and Father Foundation.
