4 die, 2 survive Nueva Vizcaya massacre

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya Four members of a family of six were massacred in an extremely remote mountain village in Villaverde town here, early yesterday morning.
Initial reports reaching the police provincial office here said that four members of a family in Villaverde town were brutally murdered with only two survivors, including the father.
Early reports disclosed that the victims were brutally hacked to death by still unknown assailants at around 4 a.m. yesterday in upland Cabuluan village, about 40 kms from here or at least five hours of mountain hiking from Villaverde proper.
According to SPO3 Anselmo Dulin of the police provincial office, police investigators were already dispatched to the area to investigate the incident and secure the bodies of the victims who have yet to be identified. Charlie Lagasca
