Panukulan, Quezon Mayor Ronnie Mitra, who was arrested, along with two aides and a Chinese national, while transporting P1 billion worth of shabu last Oct. 14, might testify on the extent of the illegal drug operations in Southern Tagalog, a source at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) hinted yesterday.
Mitra, the source said, was brought to the NBI headquarters last Monday night and was subjected to interrogation.
Mitra reportedly submitted an affidavit giving details about the illegal drug operations in Region 4, particularly in Quezon.
The NBI source, however, declined to give details about Mitras affidavit. Mike Frialde
