Guico: LMP has no funds

BINALONAN, Pangasinan Not only are its coffers empty, the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) is in debt, including an unpaid P200,000 for just one seminar in a Manila hotel.
"The LMP has no more money. It has been exhausted. It even has debts," said this towns mayor Ramon Guico, the leagues newly elected president.
Guico vowed to act on the leagues members clamor for an inquiry into how the funds were spent.
He also promised to make an inventory of the ambulances which his predecessor, former San Juan Mayor Jinggoy Estrada, gave to "favored" municipalities. Eva de Leon
