Graft raps vs school president dismissed

Ombudsman Aniano Desierto recently dismissed for lack of probable cause, anti-graft charges against Dr. Patricio Unday, president of the Nueva Vizcaya State Polytechnic College.
The criminal complaint against Unday was filed a year ago by Joselito Venturina, former member of the board of trustees of the college.
In his findings, Robert Marcelo, the investigating officer, said that all business transactions conducted for the school are approved by the board of trustees as a governing body and not by the college president.
"The complainants accusations are not even supported by evidence to warrant the culpability of the respondent," Marcelo stated in his resolution.
