Nur wont get OIC sympathy

Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Gov. Nur Misuari will unlikely get the sympathy of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) even if he was stripped of his power as chairman of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), Libyan Ambassador Salem Adam said yesterday.
Adam said the OIC recognizes the MNLF, not Misuari, as an observer and that it respects the decision of the fronts leadership and will not intervene in its internal affairs.
But Adam said the OIC wants Muslims in Mindanao to unite for the sake of development.
The MNLFs central committee voted last April 28 to make Misuari chairman emeritus of the front. Aurea Calica
