Mayor hunted for shabu

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is hunting down the incumbent mayor of Maguing, Lanao del Sur following last Fridays successful drug buy-bust in Quezon City that resulted in the seizure of four kilos of shabu worth about P4 million.
NBI director Reynaldo Wycoco said Mayor Pindulangan Juhayra Abinal allegedly arranged the drug deal between NBI undercover agents and suspect Juhary Galo, 31, himself a mayoralty candidate in Lumba-Bayabao, Lanao del Sur.
Galo and another suspect, a certain Angkaya Pamlian, are at large.
Their alleged cohorts, Feliciano Alli, 20, a student of Perpetual Help College in Sampaloc, Manila; and Aries Pajuyo, 22, a Sangguniang Kabataan councilor in Manilas Barangay 451, were arrested during the buy-bust. Mike Frialde
