People Power Coalition senatorial candidate Solita "Mareng" Winnie" Monsod lamented that due to the high-costs of running a national campaign, she is unable to hand out campaign giveaways to all her supporters during her sorties.
The respected economist has begun to face the reality of not having sufficient funds to match the other candidates. "I wish I could give all of them T-shirts, vests, caps and fans and other campaign borloloys. But I have only a limited number of them," said Monsod.
"My apology to my supporters and friends. As you all know I do not have the funds to undertake an expensive campaign. My best gift to all of you is my desire to serve the people," said Monsod.
