BAGUIO CITY  One of the suspects in the hazing death of Philippine Military Academy cadet Edward Domingo asked the city prosecutor’s office yesterday to dismiss the charges against him.
Third Class Cadet Omar Julius Labajo, in his motion to dismiss, claimed he was "in my bunk and asleep" when Domingo was struck with a lead pipe and punched, in an apparent illegal "celebration" rite for his passing his academic subjects, last March 10.
"I was tired because of the parade that afternoon and I spent sometime in the evening conducting extra instructions to some fourth class men in my company," Labajo said.
The three other suspects are Third Class Cadets Jose Louie Ong, Michael Perang and Willard Aperocho.  Aurora Alambra
