4 dead, 30 hurt in Agusan mishap

BAYUGAN, Agusan del Sur — At least four persons were killed and 30 others were wounded when a six-wheeler Fuso Canter truck turned turtle yesterday afternoon along national highway in Kilometer 10, Barangay Calaitan this town.

Dead victims were identified as Rex Villapando, Rogelio Magdasoc, Ronald Cosmiano and Rolando Bascug, all of Barangay Taglatawan, Bayugan Agusan del Sur.

The six-wheeler truck with plate number GKM-974 was cruising along the national highway now under major repair when it turned turtle as it swerved at a narrow curve portion of the said area.

Among the identified injured passengers of the truck were Jay Iligan, Joel Iligan, Rey Maligsa, Allen Degamo, Noel Duhaylungsod, Romel Duhaylungsod, Eddie Basco, Randy Campos, Reggie Precioso, Carlito Maghinay, Sherwin Magaspac, Jason Lumimbay, Roger Mahinay, Janice Lumimbay, Ronnie Poblete, Arnel Jimenez, Jodie Casas, Baldomero Sanchez, Wilma Lumimbay, Miller Duhay and Yan-yan Acero. All are residents of Barangay Calaitan.
