CEBU  Police units in the province were ordered to be on alert for the possible presence in the province of convicted priest-killer Norberto Manero who escaped from the Sarangani jail before dawn Thursday.
Chief Superintendent Avelino Razon, regional police director, said he was ordered by Philippine National Police chief Deputy Director General Leandro Mendoza to help launch a massive manhunt for Manero.
Other PNP officials, however, said there is a very remote possibility that Manero will hide in Cebu.
Some intelligence agents said the bald Manero may use artificial hair and sunglasses to hide his identity.
Mendoza has also ordered other regional police units to hunt Manero down.  Freeman News Service
