Town police chief linked to rob-slay

A municipal police chief in Pangasinan, along with two of his men, was ordered dismissed from the police service after he was linked to the robbery and killing of a branch manager of Equitable PCI Bank and his security escort last Feb. 19.
Witnesses positively identified Superintendent Artemio Lamsen, police chief of Malasique town, and his two subordinates, PO2 Anthony Abulencia and SPO1 Wilfredo Ramos, as among the armed men who waylaid Equitable executive Fernando Sy and bodyguard Arturo Mariado and took a bag containing P2.3 million in cash, in Barangay Coliling, San Carlos City.
