Jeep plunges into ravine; seven killed

Seven people, two of them children, were killed and 25 others were injured when the jeepney they were riding in fell into a ravine in Burgos, La Union Saturday night.
The fatalities were identified as Angelika Bagayan, 6; Jeffrey Javier, Alma Javier, Joselito Javier, Romeo de Leon and his wife Lourdes, and Maggie Javier.
The STAR learned that the passengers were supposedly en route to Tuguegarao, Cagayan after vacationing for a week in Baguio City, but decided to visit a beach in La Union.
