Lorna T’s market, 5 others face closure

-
The Antipolo City government threatened to padlock yesterday five markets, one of them owned by actress Lorna Tolentino, for their alleged failure to maintain cleanliness in their slaughterhouses and other areas.

Councilor Eva Querubin, chairwoman of the city council’s market and slaughterhouse committee, discovered unsanitary conditions at Tolentino’s Cogeo Dry and Wet Market and the four other markets in Barangays Pinugay, Sta. Cruz, San Jose and San Isidro during an ocular inspection. — Non Alquitran
