Body found resembles missing Taiwanese

Police said the body of a woman fished out last Monday in the waters of Anini-y, Antique matched the description of a Taiwanese woman who went missing off Boracay, Aklan last Feb. 14.
The woman was reportedly surfing with friends when big waves swallowed her.
Chief Superintendent Julius Yarcia, Western Visayas police director, said a fisherman, Jojo Acot, found the body three miles from the shoreline of Anini-y town.
Local probers are still coordinating with the Boracay police for the proper identification of the retrieved body, Yarcia said. Christina Mendez
