Businessmen welcome Dominguez designation

DAVAO CITY Mindanao businessmen welcomed yesterday the appointment of Paul Dominguez as Presidential Adviser for Regional Development in the administration of newly installed President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
"We really welcome his appointment, knowing his qualifications and competence which we have tested while he served in various capacities both in government and the private sector," said Joji Ilagan-Bian, chairperson of the Mindanao Business Council.
Dominguez, 51, served for six years as Presidential Assistant for Mindanao under the administration of former President Fidel Ramos.
He also served as concurrent chairman of the Mindanao Economic Development Council (Medco) under Mr. Ramos. Edith Regalado
