Anyone can head NBI

Interior and Local Government Secretary Alfredo Lim said anyone an insider or an outsider can head the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
"Regardless of where the next NBI chief would come from for as long as he would perform well, then he might be the right person for the position," Lim said.
He was reacting to grumblings within the NBI against the possible appointment of Chief Superintendent Lucas Managuelod, Southern Tagalog police director, as NBI director, to succeed Federico Opinion who died last week. Cecille Suerte Felipe
