STA. CRUZ, Zambales  Police confiscated 33 kilos of shabu worth about P66 million during a raid on a coastal community here yesterday.
Chief Inspector Eugenio Sapasap, this town’s police chief, said the illegal drugs were placed in two black containers with Chinese markings buried in the backyard of a certain Rafael Mahusay, 27, in Barangay Lucapon.
Mahusay was not in his house when the raiding team came.
Sapasap said they acted on a tip from barangay residents that high-speed motorboats with Chinese-looking passengers were frequently seen in the village.
He said his men chased some of the suspected shabu traffickers off the coast of this town last Dec. 7, but failed to catch them.  Bebot Sison Jr.
