"There’s enough reason for the President to resign. The jueteng scandal only exacerbated the situation. When he launched his all-out war policy against the separatist rebels in Mindanao, it was already enough reason to call for his resignation," said Gus Miclat, executive director of the International Initiative for Dialogue (IID).
Meanwhile, the Erap Resign Movement (RESIGN) coalition here vowed to stage a march-rally every Wednesday until Mr. Estrada steps down from office.
RESIGN members said the march would pass through the city’s main thoroughfares, capped by a rally at Rizal Park.
"We will never stop our protest movement until we make sure that the President really resigns," said Alvin Luque, chairman of the Alyansang Makabayan in Southern Mindanao.  Edith Regalado
