MANILA, Philippines — Buo ang tiwala ni head coach Tim Cone na ka­yang makipagsaba­yan ng Gilas Pilipinas sa New Zealand at may tsansang makasilat sa pagbubukas ng second window ng 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qua­lifiers sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.

Hindi pa nananalo ang Gilas sa New Zealand sa apat nilang paghaharap sa kahit anong FIBA compe­titions at pagkakataon na ito ng Nationals na ma­wakasan na ang pagka­gutom ngayong alas-7:30 ng gabi.

Pagkatapos ng New Zealand ay iho-host din ng Gilas ang Hong Kong sa Linggo sa parehong ve­nue.
