Malaluan suits up for PLDT in Vigan

MANILA, Philippines — Alleiah Malaluan is not yet healthy enough to commit to Alas Pilipinas for the 2026 Asian Games.

But already on the road to recovery from  injury, Malaluan hooked up with the PLDT High Speed Hitters in their trip to Vigan, Ilocos Sur for the resumption of the PVL on Tour.

Thus, the High Speed Hitters are almost in full force-only minus Dell Palomata-when they clash with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans today.

Malaluan will wear her uniform  for the Manny V. Pangilinan-owned franchise  but may play only limited action in this gig in the UNESCO-declared Heritage City up North. “She’s still not 100 percent,” PLDT manager Bajjie del Rosario yesterday told The STAR referring to Malaluan.

Also suiting up are Savi Davison, Mika Reyes, Majoy Baron, Kath Arado, Kianna Dy and Kim Fajardo among others.

Game time is at 6:30 p.m.

Also facing off are Nxled and Capital1 at 4 p.m.

The Mandy and Milka Romero-owned franchise will be without their three biggest stars – Bella Belen, Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos, who were loaned to Alas.
