Another body found in abandoned vehicle

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — A dead man was found inside an abandoned vehicle in General Tinio, Nueva Ecija on Wednesday.

The body was discovered in a Ford Everest parked along the road in Barangay Pias, police said.

The vehicle had been in the area since Tuesday night, residents said.

The body, wrapped in a blanket, was found lying in the front passenger seat of the Everest.

As of Wednesday night, police have yet to provide details about the incident.

Earlier in the day, a man and a woman were found dead inside a sport utility vehicle parked at a gasoline station along the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway in Victoria, Tarlac.

Police withheld the identities of the fatalities following requests from relatives.
