Holidays declared in 6 areas

MANILA, Philippines — President Marcos has declared special non-working days in several areas in the country for the observance of local founding anniversaries and special events.
Under Proclamation 1287, June 11 is a special non-working day in Rizal for the celebration of the province’s 125th founding anniversary.
June 24 is a special holiday in Tabaco, Albay as provided under Proclamation 1286 for the celebration of Tabak Festival.
Proclamation 1285 declared June 18 a special non-working day in New Corella, Davao del Norte for the commemoration of the town’s founding anniversary.
June 15 will be a special non-working day in Camalaniugan, Cagayan for the observance of the town’s 430th founding anniversary, according to Proclamation 1284.
Marcos declared June 26 a special non-working day in Sawata, Davao del Norte, through Proclamation 1283, for the 22nd Araw ng Sawata.
In Metro Manila, June 24 is a special non-working day in San Juan under Proclamation 1282, for the Wattah Wattah Festival.
