MANILA, Philippines — It’s all systems go for Kenneth Llover.

Llover successfully tipped the scales at 117.7 pounds in his second attempt, while his opponent, Michael Angeletti, weighed in at 117.5 pounds.

The two will figure in an International Boxing Federation (IBF) bantamweight championship eliminator Saturday, June 5, in Japan in perhaps the biggest match of his young career thus far.

The two are both undefeated, with the Filipino Llover holding a 17-0 record (12 knockouts), and the latter toting a 14-0 slate (eight KOs).

Llover’s promotion, Gerrypens Promotions, posted a video of the two sluggers facing off.

Neither one broke eye contact even after being pulled away from each other.

“Kenneth Llover is READY for tomorrow,” the Facebook post read.

Another Filipino fighter, John Riel Casimero, will fight in the same Japan card in a 124-pound catchweight match.

“Quadro Alas” will be facing off against Luis Nery in a 10-rounder.

Nery weighed in at 57.5 kilograms, or 127.2 pounds, while Casimero tipped the scales at 56 kilograms or 123.4 pounds.

Despite the Mexican boxer going in overweight, the fight will push through.

The pride of Ormoc, Leyte is currently holding a 35-5-1 win-loss-draw record with 24 knockouts, while Nery is parading a 37-2 slate with 28 knockouts.
