MANILA, Philippines — Hinikayat ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ang mga residente na samantalahin ang mga digital services at sustainable mobility programs ng pamahalaang lungsod para makatulong na mabawasan ang gastusin sa transportasyon sa gitna ng tumataas na presyo ng produktong petrolyo bunsod ng giyera sa Middle East.
“We understand that rising fuel and transportation costs can put additional pressure on many families. That is why we encourage our QCitizens to maximize our online services so they can transact with the city government quickly and conveniently, without the need to travel.” ani Mayor Belmonte.
Ang digital services sa pamamagitan ng qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph, QC E-Services ay may mahigit 160 individual services sa 34 programs na maituturing na isa sa mga most comprehensive local government digital platforms sa bansa.
Sa pamamagitan ng portal na ito, maaaring mag-apply ang mga residente para sa business permits, occupational permits, building permits, scholarships, burial at medical assistance, at maaari ring magbayad ng real property taxes.
Samantala, sinabi ni Belmonte na patuloy ang operasyon ng QCity Bus Libreng Sakay program, na kasalukuyang nagsisilbi sa mga commuter sa walong ruta sa buong lungsod, na nagbibigay ng libre at maaasahang pampublikong transportasyon.
Maari ring samantalahin ng mga residente ang dumadaming network of protected at shared bike lanes, na ligtas, healthy, at cost-efficient na option sa araw-araw na pagbiyahe.
