DSWD, MVP Group kapit bisig sa pagseserbisyo
MANILA, Philippines — Lumagda ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa isang Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) sa pagitan ng MVP Group Tulong Kapatid upang mapabuti pa ang pagkakaloob ng social protection programs at development services para sa mga mahihirap, marginalized, at vulnerable Filipinos.
Sa kanyang mensahe, sinabi ni DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian tampok sa kasunduan ang strategic partnership ng DSWD at MVP Group para mapaigting ang mga programa ng ahensiya tulad ng Walang Gutom Program (WGP); Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program; Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP); Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) at Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan - Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS).
Naniniwala naman si MVP Group Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan na matutulungan nila ng DSWD ang mga marginalized at disadvantaged sectors dahil iisa lamang kanilang adhikain at iyon ay mabigyan ng mataas na kalidad ng pamumuhay ang bawat Pilipino.
“We are here because we share the common conviction with the DSWD that the strength of the nation lies in how it cares for the weak and most vulnerable, and that real service means going beyond our official mandates as government and as business,”ayon kay Chairman Pangilinan .
Gagamitin ng DSWD ang expertise at resources ng mga piling foundations at organizations ng MVP Group upang suportahan ang protective programs at disaster response operations ng ahensiya hinggil sa pagsasagawa ng relief assistance, communication, livelihood, education, electrification, health, at access sa malinis na tubig.
