MANILA, Philippines — Inirekomenda ng Philippine National Police-Internal Affairs Service (IAS) ang pagsibak sa walong pulis na dawit sa pagkakapatay  kay Jerhode “Jemboy” Baltazar noong Agosto 2 sa Navotas City.

Batay sa resolution na inilabas ni  IAS Inspector General Alfegar Triambulo, pinasisibak sa serbisyo sina PCapt. Mark Joseph Carpio, PCapt. Luisito de la Cruz,

Executive Master/Sgt. Roberto Balais Jr., Staff Sergeant Antonio Bugayong Jr., Staff Sergeant Gerry Maliban, Staff Sergeant Nikko Pines Esquillon, Cpl. Edmard Jake Blanco at Pat. Benedict Mangada.

Lumilitaw na lumabag sa kasong grave irregularity in the  performance of duty and for conduct unbecoming of a police officer sina  Balais,  Bugayong, Maliban, Esquillon, Blanco at Mangada.

Ayon kay Triambulo, inamin ng  anim na sila ang nagpaputok kay Baltazar.

Samantalang pinapanagot naman sa kasong grave neglect of duty sina Carpio at De la Cruz na  tumayong team leader ng grupo at may direct  supervision sa anim na pulis.

Isinumite na kay National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief PBGen. Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr. ang resolution.

Nabatid sa pahayag ng ilang saksi na may intensiyong patayin si Baltazar dahil na rin sa mga tama  ng bala sa katawan na nakita dito.

Ani Triambulo, ang ginawa ng mga pulis ay paglabag sa  standard operating procedures.

Matatandaang napatay si Baltazar noong Agosto 2 nang habulin umano ng mga pulis ang isang suspek sa pamamaril sa Brgy. North Bay Boulevard South Kaunlaran, Navotas City.
