3 die in Valenzuela, QC road mishaps
MANILA, Philippines — Three men died in separate vehicular accidents in Valenzuela and Quezon City in the past two days.
One of the fatalities in Valenzuela, whose name was not immediately available, was hit by a truck and ran over by a similar vehicle along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Marulas at around 2:30 a.m. yesterday.
The driver of the first truck, identified as Noel Llasos surrendered to the police while the other driver fled.
Meanwhile, Joemark Narvasa, 28, was thrown off his motorcycle that skidded along MacArthur Highway on Wednesday night.
Narvasa’s motorcycle hit another one driven by Noel Cordova, who was taken to a hospital for treatment along with his passenger.
On the same night, Joemar Rosas, 23, died after his motorcycle hit a car driven by Jerwin Dagdag, 40, in Barangay Sto. Cristo, Quezon City.
Meanwhile, traffic was snarled along the Ellipical Road after hundreds of empty beer bottles fell from a truck headed for the Quezon City Memorial Circle.
