E2 hurt as attackers shoot at Quezon City house

MANILA, Philippines - A pregnant woman and a six-year-old girl were wounded when two men shot at their home in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon, Quezon City on Saturday night.

Shienna Galang, 18, and her boyfriend’s niece were sleeping when the assailants – one of whom was identified only as “Michael” – shot at the door three times at around 11 p.m., police said.

The two were taken to the Quezon City General Hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds in their legs.

Galang told police the attack may be linked to a misunderstand between her boyfriend’s stepfather and a still unidentified person.
