Indian nabbed for making sex pills

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A Indian man was arrested in a sting in Quezon City on Wednesday night for allegedly manufacturing and selling unregistered sex enhancer pills.

Joel George, 30, was apprehended in his office after he sold P2,000 worth of “Tamaraw” capsules to his former employee, Conrado Vidal.

The sting was set up by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Quezon City after Vidal, who filed the complaint, alleged that George was manufacturing pharmaceutical products without adhering to standards set by the Food and Drug Administration.

Vidal was the former corporate secretary and marketing director of Goodyear Enterprises Inc., a company owned by George.

George faces charges for violating Republic Acts 9711 (Food and Drugs Administration Act of 2009) and 10611 (Food Safety Act of 2013).
