Teen dies from beating in Tondo

MANILA, Philippines - A 15-year-old boy died while his companion was hurt after they were beaten up in Tondo, Manila before dawn yesterday.

Chrysler John Tolentino and his friend, Bryan Laquindanum, 15, were walking along Perla Street at around 3 a.m. when Rigor Vincent Quebral, 21; and Jester Atao, 23; and a man identified only as “Ron” allegedly attacked them, Police Officer 3 Dennis Turla said.

The three suspects fled and are now the subject of a police manhunt, he added.
