MANILA, Philippines - Two men and a boy were arrested in a drug sting in Alabang, Muntinlupa City yesterday morning.

Police officers from the Southern Police District (SPD) seized five kilos of shabu, with a street value of P25 million, from Akmad Hassan, 29; Jalil Solaiman, 21; and the 15-year-old boy.

Senior Superintendent Eusebio Mejos, SPD director, said his men arranged to buy a kilo of shabu from the suspects for P800,000.

The suspects were arrested after meeting up with the undercover police officer and receiving marked money along Civic Drive near the Food and Drug Administration building at around 10 a.m.

Police officers found four more kilos of shabu in the suspects’ vehicle, a black Toyota Altis with conduction sticker YX 3422, Mejos said.

The SPD said the drugs came from a supplier in Laguna.

Mejos ordered the filing of charges against the suspects, who were detained at the SPD headquarters.
