Fire destroys 4 Pasay homes

MANILA, Philippines - Four houses were razed in a fire that struck a residential area in Barangay 185, Pasay City yesterday afternoon.

The blaze started at around 1:35 p.m. at Prescila Bascon’s house on Pagasa street, according to the Pasay City Central Fire Station.

The fire reached third alarm and spread to three houses before it was put out just before 3 p.m.

No was reported hurt or killed in the blaze.

Initial investigation conducted by arson probers pointed to an overheated laptop computer as the suspected cause of the fire.

Arson probers have yet to determine the value of the properties destroyed in the fire.
