LTFRB summons 2 picky cabbies

MANILA, Philippines – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) yesterday summoned two taxi drivers who allegedly snubbed and refused to transport passengers.

LTFRB Chairman Winston Ginez said the cabbies were ordered to appear before the board’s hearing set in January next year. The identities of the cab drivers were withheld.

The LTFRB earlier launched its Oplan Isnabero campaign against erring taxi drivers who resort to the so-called “contract basis” in transporting passengers.
