‘Pastor widow abroad, using fake names’

MANILA, Philippines - The widow of slain international car racer Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor has been living in an Asian country – reportedly Indonesia – for quite some time, a government source confirmed yesterday.

Dahlia Guerrero-Pastor – who faces a parricide charge for reportedly masterminding her husband’s murder along with her alleged lover, businessman Domingo de Guzman – had been using fake names to conceal her identity, the source said.

He refused to elaborate, saying that releasing more details may affect the government’s manhunt for Guerrero-Pastor.

The source said the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has been coordinating with the International Police to help them capture Guerrero-Pastor. She is currently on Interpol’s red notice list.

The Philippines has an existing extradition treaty with the country where she is said to be staying.

Earlier, documents released to the media purported to show Guerrero-Pastor was staying in Indonesia using the name “Amanda Maragit.”

The government source also released to the media Guerrero-Pastor’s latest photo, an Indonesian resident card bearing her photo and her fake name, and documents showing she married an Indonesian and changed the surnames of her children to bear that of her fake name.

Cops rev up manhunt

Meanwhile, the Quezon City Police District has intensified its manhunt for Guerrero-Pastor a day after she was reported to have been staying in Indonesia under a new name, said Chief Inspector Rodel Marcelo, who heads the QCPD’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit.

“Our manhunt operation continues, but we cannot confirm that she is really in that country (Indonesia),” Marcelo told The Star.

Guerrero-Pastor – charged with parricide for allegedly masterminding the attack on her husband on June 24, 2014 – reportedly left the country within days after her husband was shot dead.

De Guzman, who was charged with murder, was recently arrested by NBI agents in Cavite.

Helping hand

The slain racer’s mother, Remy Pastor, said they chose to “spill” what they knew to help the government hunt down Guerrero-Pastor after her estranged daughter-in-law’s camp filed a motion with the Court of Appeals to quash the warrant for her arrest.

“It’s a race between the NBI and the PNP (Philippine National Police),” she told The STAR.

Remy also appealed to Filipinos abroad to report the whereabouts of her son’s widow so she could be brought to justice.
