MANILA, Philippines – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority rolled out yesterday its non-stop bus service for the holidays.

The express bus service, which will run until Jan. 6, 2016, is meant to encourage owners of private vehicles to leave them at home to decongest EDSA during the Christmas season.

With fares ranging from P50 to P80, the express buses will pick up passengers at Trinoma, SM North EDSA and SM Megamall and bring them to Park Square and Glorietta 5 in Ayala Center.

The buses can load or unload passengers along Ayala Avenue once in Makati’s central business district.

The express buses will start operating at around 6 a.m. and leave every 30 minutes. The last trip will be around 10 p.m. for both directions.
