Delivery boy dies in bar brawl

MANILA, Philippines – A delivery boy died when a group of men ganged up on him in a bar in Manila early yesterday morning.

Antonio Amaro, of Madrid street, Binondo, succumbed to massive injuries at the Jose Abad Santos General Hospital, Senior Superintendent Romeo Macapas, chief of Manila Police District Station 11, said.

Macapas said Amaro was drinking with his friends in a bar in Binondo when they figured in an altercation with another group of men at around 3:30 a.m.

A few minutes later, the two groups engaged in a brawl. The suspects fled after the incident.
